Would you like to celebrate or remember an event? It is now possible to sponsor the flowers in church on a Sunday morning. Your donation, however small, will help to pay for the flowers and your celebration/remembrance will be noted in the pew sheet on the Sunday in question. Please see either of the Churchwardens who will be happy to help.

Tea and cleaning rota

If you like to help out with the tea serving and cleaning rota, please talk to Jaki. She would be most happy to hear from you

Sponsor an Organ Pipe

If you haven’t already done so, you are invited to sponsor an organ pipe to help pay for the recent refurbishment of the organ. Please see the display at the back of church and speak to Sally-Anne or Rev Mark. So far we have raised in excess of £300 in sponsorship with more donations promised. Click here for more details

Baptism Charities

This year’s chosen Baptism Charities are Lincs2Nepal, Rainbow Children’s Hospice and Heartlink Children’s Charity

50/50 club

One of our church fund-raisers is the 50-50 club. It costs £12 a year, with half the money going to the church and the other half is prize money. If you would like to join, please see Doug or Jean Cornford.

During the year we are putting on a number of fun events and fund raising events. We would like to put a small group together to help plan the events. If you are interested in helping with a single event or with the planning of our year ahead, please have a chat with Rev Mark or Carol

We are reviewing our rota of stewards who assist in our Sunday services. We would like to reach the stage where each group of two stewards are only on duty once every two months. To achieve this, we need a few more people to volunteer to join the rota. Please would you think and pray about this, and consider whether you would be able to become one of our stewards.

We are also in need of people to help with the refreshment rota on a Sunday and the cleaning rota. Please see Jaki if you are interested.

Leprosy Mission

We have received a letter of thanks from the Leprosy Mission for the £186 donated when Allister de Plessis came to speak to us. Thanks too, to those who signed up to give regularly to the charity

Lent Course

We will be holding our Lent course on Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the church room commencing on Tuesday 20th February

Raising funds for St Botolph's Church goes on all year round and one easy way of doing this is to use the Easy Fundraising website:

It is easy to register, then when asked which cause you wish to support, type in St Botolph's Quarrington.

Whenever you make a purchase go to the Easyfudraising website or app, look up the retailer and click to transfer to the chosen website, any purchase you then make will qualify for a donation.

Retailers taking part include: Amazon, Tesco (including grocery shopping), Marks and Spencer, Premier Inn, Early Learning, Thomas Cook and countless others.

Have a look at the website to see if your favourite store/retailer is included then get shopping and help to raise lots of money for our church
