Famine Relief Collection
In response to the crises in Yemen, South Sudan, Somalia and Nigeria we are inviting people to give to the famine appeal by leaving a donation as we leave church over the next three Sundays. Please be as generous as you can. There will be a bowl left near the font as we leave church.
During the year we are putting on a number of fun events and fund raising events. We would like to put a small group together to help plan the events. If you are interested in helping with a single event or with the planning of our year ahead, please have a chat with Rev Mark or Carole
We will be for suggestions for hymns to sing at our fifth Sunday of the month, 30th April, Celtic Communion, so please start thinking!
St Botolph’s will be hosting a Lent Lunch on 10th April
On Saturday 6th May 2017 there is a walk across the Humber Bridge to raise money for Christian Aid. Rev Heather is hoping to take part and would love to have others to join her. It starts at 2.00pm. If you are interested please ask her for more details.

From 25th May to 4th June we will be joining in with a prayer initiative that the Archbishop of Canterbury has developed. It follows the theme of “Thy Kingdom Come”. We are invited to joins thousands of other Christians between Ascension Day and Pentecost Sunday in setting aside a time each day to pray for God’s kingdom to come. As a church we will be holding a daily time of prayer entitled “11 Days at 11”. You are invited to join this in the church room whenever you can at 11am during the 11 days. More details will follow nearer the time.
We are invited to join St Denys’s coach trip to Tolethorpe, Stamford on Wednesday evening 19th July 2017 to see Hobson’s Choice by Harold Brighouse. Cost £14 per person plus coach fare

We are reviewing our rota of stewards who assist in our Sunday services. We would like to reach the stage where each group of two stewards are only on duty once every two months. To achieve this, we need a few more people to volunteer to join the rota. Please would you think and pray about this, and consider whether you would be able to become one of our stewards.
The faith community of St. Botolph's, Quarrington seek to serve the people who live and work in the area of Quarrington and Greylees, showing by word and action the love of God within this modern community.
